There was a night when someone got hungry enough to stop making sensible decisions.

It started with a juicy NZ beef patty — proper, smoky, straight off the grill. Then someone said, "Needs sweetness," so on went grilled pineapple, caramelised and dripping over the edges. Someone else threw on shrooms and flame-grilled peppers, because apparently the rules had already left the room.
